The City of Everly is taking the Iowa Public Health's recommendation and will be limiting foot traffic in City Hall. Our doors will be locked, but the office will be staffed from 8 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 5 pm. The public hearings at the Council meeting tonight at 6 pm are still happening. Utility payments can be dropped off in the drop box at City Hall, or credit card payments are accepted over the phone. If you have Cash Payment feel free to call us at 712-834-2691 and we will un-lock the door for you. Thank you for understanding!

Everly is believed to be named after a Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad conductor or a surveyor when it was surveyed and platted in 1884. The town was originally named Clark.
